Procedures such as management of cysts and jaw fractures may be claimable through Medicare. Dental procedures such as removal of teeth are claimable through your Private Health Ancillary cover.
Dr Parthasarathi is an AHPRA recognised Medical Specialist in the field of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and has held prestigious public hospital and academic posts in addition to his private practice. Through extensive and contemporary training, Dr Parthasarathi aims to provide the highest quality of care in a friendly and caring manner.
Dr Parthasarathi completed his Bachelor of Dental Science from the University of Melbourne, completing with Honours and obtaining the Des Crack Memorial Prize. Medical School was completed through the University of Newcastle, graduating with Distinction, and being awarded the Steele Douglas Prize. Primary examinations through the RACDS with commendations, and following four years of specialist training, awarded his specialist qualifications FRACDS(OMS). Dr Parthasarathi then completed further fellowships in the UK in the fields of TMJ Surgery and in General/Deformity surgery at Queens Medical Centre Nottingham.
Dr Parthasarathi has previously worked in New Zealand, working as a dental and maxillofacial surgery resident at Auckland City Hospital, Starship Children’s Hospital, and Middlemore base hospital. Medical Internship and general surgical residency were completed at St Vincent’s Hospital, Darlinghurst, Sydney. Following this, four years of Specialist Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training were completed through the following hospitals: Prince of Wales, Sydney Children’s, Westmead Adult Hospital, Calvary Hospital and The Canberra Hospital. Dr Parthasarathi is actively involved in research and has published original research items in the Maxillofacial literature.
Dr Parthasarathi is a proud father and husband and spends his spare time at the beach with his family.
My name is Paul Hammans and I am coming from Germany. Following graduation from the Medical School of the University of Bonn in 1983, I completed my PhD in Medicine one year later. After attending the Dental School I graduated in 1989 and completed my PhD in Dentistry in 2000.
I started my surgical training at the University Hospital Bonn in Neurosurgery in 1984 and switched to Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 1989. I completed the training and received my certificate for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 1993. I worked in private practice near Düsseldorf from 1994, with a focus on Dental Implantology.
In 2005 I moved to Australia with my family and started working as a specialist in Canberra Surgicentre. Since 2006 I was also working in Sydney and in Wollongong since 2010.
I am a Clinical lecturer at the University of Sydney being a surgical mentor of the Post Graduation Diploma Program for dental implants.
Dr McEachen is a registered specialist in oral maxillofacial surgery, oral medicine and oral pathology. Completing his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Science in 1989 and a Bachelor of Dental Science in 1999 from The University of Queensland. He has completed specialist training in Australia, South Africa and the United Kingdom.
His services include wisdom teeth removal, minor oral procedure in our treatment rooms, also benign conditions such as cysts, benign tumours and some diseases that affect the jaws, salivary glands and the oral cavity, also conditions such as lichen planus and burning mouth syndrome. He is one of very few medically trained specialists in oral medicine.
